K Gudi has no shops, petrol bunks or medical facilities, so it is
better to carry a basic medicine kit with you. |

The
nearest town is Chamrajnagar (about an hour’s drive) where
one can get petrol, supplies and medical help. |

|
|
|
|
Also
carry essentials like batteries, films, small eats, etc. from Mysore
or Chamrajnagar. If you are using a sophisticated camera, it is
better to carry spare batteries. |

|
|
|
Bottled
mineral water is available at the camp and you need not carry this
with you. |

|
|
|
The
camp has STD / ISD facilities. |
| |

|
|
Located
at an elevation, K Gudi has very pleasant temperature through the
year. Winters can be nippy at night, with temperatures around 12
C. |
